I am very detailed orientated and have high expectations, but watching Tom and David lead the contractors and project has been absolutely world class-you have the best working at Lucke all the way around. They are always available when I have questions, and they run our project like they are building their own home.
This process has been long and exhausting, and my personality can be difficult to work with (ask Pam, yourself, and Lana:) but all of you realize that this is our dream coming to reality and your team truly take that as a genuine interest. When we chose your company as our builder in early 2003, we had no idea how the process would unfold, or what our overall experience would turn out like. This was our first opportunity to build exactly the home we wanted. Both of us come from a construction background and were pretty familiar with the process. Growing up we listened to the dinner conversations regarding the challenges with managing contractors, developers, and inspectors. We both became convinced that may construction project, regardless of scope was “Managed chaos” at best. Our visit to the job site were always pleasant.
The reason I am writing you this letter is to compliment you on your entire organization. It has been over a year now since we closed on our home in Four Bridges. Claudia and I wanted you to know that our experience with your company has been one of the best customer service experiences that we have encountered. Your entire group from those that assist with selections, drawings, construction management, supervision, and after the first year lunch list corrections, are all very knowledgeable and customer focused. We never experienced an issue that could not be resolved.
After year one I expected a rushed process that would inevitably dodge responsibility and attempt to get out ofaddressing necessary corrections. I have to blame my skepticism on years of disappointment for various construction experiences.
